What I do

I live with my family in Gorham, Maine where we enjoy traveling the world near and far.  When in Maine my family and I can be found enjoying the outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

I began my Old Orchard Beach adventure in 2015 when I was hired as the Assistant Principal at Old Orchard Beach High School. Since then I have served as the RSU 23 Superintendent since 2019. I am passionate about helping students achieve their best and ensuring that RSU 23 delivers relevant, rigorous, and engaging learning experiences for all students.

I hold a B.S. in Wildlife Ecology, an M.S.Ed, in Professional Education and a C.A.G.S. in Educational Leadership. Before coming to Old Orchard Beach High School I lived in Washington D.C. working as an education specialist at the World Bank. This work took me to regions all around the world including  East Africa and South America. Prior to D.C., I worked for eight years teaching all-things-science and co-advising the Outing Club at Windham High School. Additionally, I taught Environmental Science at SMCC. Outside of school I am a Registered Maine Guide and have worked as both a whitewater raft and sea kayaking guide.
