What I do

I enjoy running, exercising, reading, and watching movies. I love the ocean and spending days at the beach during the summer. I have been a lifelong hockey player and still enjoy getting out on the ice and skating during the winter.

This is my sixth year in the Old Orchard Beach School System. In my first two years I served as the OOBHS Principal and in the past four years I have added the title of RSU 23 Superintendent of Schools. I love working daily with students of all ages as well as parents and community leaders. My goal is to make Old Orchard Beach Schools the best in the region.

I taught special education for twelve years, and physical education for nine years. I coached high school football for twenty-two years and was a baseball umpire for twenty years. I have been an assistant principal at Bonny Eagle High School, and Kennebunk High School. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts at UMaine Farmington, and my Master of Science degree in Educational Leadership, and my Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership, Ethics, and Change, at the University of New England.
