What I do
My husband, Glenn, and I have 2 daughters. I am an avid runner and has completed hundreds of races from 5ks to marathons to triathlons. I love to spend my days with my family and look forward to a time at the beach with a good book!
I have been the Food & Nutrition Services Director at RSU23 since the summer of 2018. As a Registered Dietitian, I love to bring my passion for health and nutrition into all of the school cafeterias, and occasionally I can be found teaching a nutrition lesson in a classroom.
Before joining the team in Old Orchard Beach, I worked in school nutrition programs in Sarasota and Naples, Florida for 4 years. I have also worked for a software company in Colorado, as a Clinical Dietitian in a large hospital in Florida, and as the Nutrition Coordinator for seven Head Starts in Midcoast Maine. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Seton Hill University in Pennsylvania, am a School Nutrition Specialist, and grew up in Boothbay, Maine.
